Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about sizing, fit, fabric, processing, shipping, and ordering.

How can you sell high-quality tees for $6.99?

Because we control the whole process. Every shirt is printed to order at our own facility in Gainesville, Florida — no outsourcing, no third-party fulfillment centers, no middleman taking a cut. The blank itself is a Gildan G5000, the same heavyweight cotton tee you'd pay $20 for at a mall shop. We took the cost out of the supply chain, not out of the shirt. And since people ask: Is 6 Dollar Shirts legit? Completely — thousands of verified five-star reviews say so.

How do you keep your prices so low?

We print to order, buy our blanks in bulk, and sell direct online — no third-party printers, wholesalers, or middleman markup. We run on lean margins and volume instead of charging $25 for a graphic tee.

How do I get my tees for $6.99?

It's simple! Browse or search our catalog of thousands of designs and add at least 10 tees to your cart — the discount is applied automatically. Sizes larger than XL get $3 off each. Happy shopping!

What brands do you use?

We use trusted brands such as Gildan, Next Level Apparel and Tultex. In the rare event of shortages, we'll supplement with comparable brands and styles.

What is your printing process?

We use the latest in direct-to-film (DTF) printing technology, and every print is held to the highest standards. We've rigorously tested our prints for life and durability — they stay crisp and vibrant even after 100+ washes.

How are the shirts measured?

We suggest measuring one of your favorite fitting shirts off the body and laid flat. The width is measured from armpit to armpit across the front only; the length is measured from the neck seam to the bottom hem. Don't have a ruler or measuring tape? A dollar bill is 6 inches!

How do the shirts fit?

Our Guys/Unisex style is a classic cut t-shirt with a regular or loose fit. Our Girls style is more fitted or tapered with cap sleeves. For our 100% cotton shirts, if not washing in cold water, order a size up to compensate for shrinkage.

Can orders be combined?

In an effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible, products from multiple orders may be combined into the same package for shipping. This reduces the number of packages sent to you, so you receive fewer packages and have less packaging material to dispose of.

Products from multiple orders may be combined into the same package if the orders meet all of the following criteria:

  • The orders are placed through the same customer account to the same address.
  • The orders are shipping at around the same time.
  • The orders have the same shipping method selected.
How long will it take to process my order?

Unless placed with Rush Processing, orders typically take about 2–3 business days to process, as we make each item to order. During busier or peak periods, processing may take a little longer.

If you would like your order to be processed and shipped within one business day, please select the Rush Processing option in your shopping cart.

How long will shipping take?

Please note that shipping time does not include processing time.

  • Standard Shipping: generally 2–7 business days, delivered by UPS or USPS (a USPS-valid address is required for all standard shipping orders).
  • USPS Priority Mail: generally 1–3 business days.
  • 2-Day: generally 2 business days.

Shipping to most international addresses takes 7–14 business days.

If you would like your order to be processed and shipped within one business day, please select the Rush Processing option in your shopping cart.

Do you accept custom orders?

If our production capacity permits, we may be able to accept custom orders of 500+ shirts. Contact us at info@6dollarshirts.com to inquire!

Do you provide compensation for design ideas?

While we are always happy to hear design ideas from our customers, at the current time we are not offering any compensation for design ideas.

Do the shirts shrink?

While our shirts are labeled as pre-shrunk by our suppliers, you can expect some shrinkage on solid colors as they are 100% cotton — particularly if you use any heat while washing or drying. Heather colors are a poly-cotton blend and so tend to not shrink much, if at all. Please note that size chart measurements are taken before the garment is laundered.
